Directions
Shake well before use.
Dosage
Adults and Children 12 years and over: 15-22.5mL
Children 6 to 11 years: 5-10mL
Not to be used by children under 6 years old
Take every 4 to 8 hours when necessary.
Each 22.5mL contains 30mg of Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide.
Also contains:
Sucrose, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Benzoate, Alcohol 5% v/v. If cough persists for more than 7 days, recurs or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache, consult your healthcare professional.
In case of accidental overdose, seek professional advice immediately.
Do not use this medication if you are currently taking or within 2 weeks of stopping treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), or if you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI.
Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you have:
- Parkinson's disease
- asthma
- emphysema
- excessive phlegm (mucus)
- persistent or chronic cough
- chronic bronchitis or cough associated with smoking.
Or if you're pregnant or breast feeding.
